Ok there seems some confusion about the skill levels on this event ! It is not complex at all un like air ball. If you have just started playing and learning paintball enter at novice. If you own guns and have played a few games enter the next level. It is not going to be pro players wiping everyone out. It is woodland based games ! A bit of everything thing for everybody

Guys lets get the rest of the teams that have said they are coming to these events booked in as soon as possible. The more we know about earlier rather than later the more chance we have of increasing the prizes. Also the more teams booked into this events the more fileds we will be playing ( so need to book a load of marshals in for the event). www.ionman.co.uk and booking number 0870 141 7490

Well folks we had 25 promotion staff from Red Bull come from all over the country to play at the site today to get a feel what it is like before the event. They have had meetings in London and are very very interested in getting more involved in these events. They are going to be testing the water with this event and backing it as much as they can at the startand looking at media coverage. The more people we can get into these events the more they are looking at getting involved. Having a name like Red Bull backing events like this is only doing the "sport" good.

We are aiming here to show people paintball in the woods can be played at a competitive level while still having fun. Paintball isn't all about making money as we are trying to show from these events. Lets make the event something special, get the sport on the local news and get more people interested in playing at a higher stage than just a customer level.

I'm quite looking forward to this... Thats if my gun actually turns up. Was hoping to get it in for a paint job before Ionman but doesn't look like that'll be happening.

Is there many people from p8ntballer coming to Ionman? It'll be nice to meet everyone. :)

Since i cannot play im putting together a novice team of new/newish players to try and get them more into paintball and to play more often...Mainly consisting of mates who have only played punter days. Obviously you wont be able to play in that Andy as you've done walkons etc before.
