what exactly is ramping, i know the ion has rebound thats about it
and yeah im upgrading later to a virtue or blackheart

i believe n the ion it means that when walking the trigger after reaching 9bps the gun will be firing at 17bps. then only have to keep the gun walkign at 5bps to keep it at 17.

so basically as long as you can hit 9bps. youre getting 17

( but i could be wrong. but im pretty sure. i remember reading it somewhere

All points said are true except for Sabot's post about it being illegal to have one over here - it is however 'illegal' (ie. your not allowed) to use the 3-shot burst or full auto at sites or tournaments in the UK, so there's really no point in getting a US board for use in the uk.

Main reason to upgrade to something like the blackheart or virtue is so you can customize your ramping options so you don't have to hit 8/9bps for it to kick in...and maybe get the cool chirpy sound.

If full auto boards were completely illegal (they probably are actually, no-one cares though), then the majority of gats in the country would be elligible for confiscation

i have a us board in mine, full auto is a bit pointless its capped at 10bps lol....

Thes US board as said above has ful auto whci can't be used anywhere in the UK. THe UK board does come with rebound mode though (2 balls per trigger pull - one in one out.)

Not rebound, response or auto response is what thats called ^^. Ramp on the ION is set to 3 bps, all other tech info is available at http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/ion/adj_electronics.html

The gun requires the user to continuously pull the trigger once a second to maintain ramping.
