They not too bad if you talk to them nicely and they are really good at replacing parts even without asking if its under warranty...

A mate had an ion with a malfunctioning board. Rang them they said it was faulty. didnt ask about its age, sent it to them and they sent him a replacement no problems

One step at a time.

I recently had a problem with an ion and it was not obvious what it was. Basically the on/off membrane on the grip frame and given up the ghost and was pressing on the on/off button on the circuit board. The way I found this out was to take it one step at a time and check that individual components worked.

If you havent the option of going to a store if their is no-one local to sort you out before Sunday your gonna have to be your own tech and do this yourself.

Try the circuit board with the battery connected. Does it work. Yes/no... ok and so on and so forth. If it all seems ok but doesnt work assembled then their is something wrong somewhere maybe when it is all scrunched in that little body and tightened up.

I know this doesnt solve your problem, but the solution is their and you'll probably kick yourself when you find it.

Good luck with your fault finding. Maybe trying to post up some specific detail of your setup and settings and maybe some photo's may help some of the collective peeps on here help you out?

Some more details would be nice...

Unfortunately gun teching isnt as simple as you posting up that your gun doesnt fire and somebody magically posting the solution.
You need to give information and answer peoples questions.

Armed with some details we can look at what has changed since the problem started, and what has stayed the same.

For example do you have a QEV?
When you 'upgraded' the board, did you change anything else at the time? Like orings or pipes?

Also you never got back to me on whether you checked the solenoid cap was the right way around. Its not always possible to do but would cause exactly the sequence of problems your having.

right guys a whole run through!

marker has:
SP feed neck
Virtue easy on/off
Eclipse SL purge on/off
Virtue board
Firebolt

My marker was working fine before i put the virtue board in it!!! Its the only thing iv changed.

The board works and turns on etc fine...i turn it on my eyes tell me breach clear etc it goes through all the setting it just wont fire properly.

when i say wouldnt fire properly the bolt was not cycling properly, it was moving a quarter of the distance it was meant to and just psst ing when i pulled the trigger.

i thort DWELl iv gone all the way through my dwell all the way up to 50 which is the max!!!

it is firing properly with bolt etc sometimes but not all!!!!

the battery is brand new and iv tried chenging and didnt work.
iv checked all fittings and banjos etc are correctly fitted and not leaking!!
The pressure through the reg is normal.

If i cant get it sorted ill just play with it like it is  and run the risk of it conking out in the middle of a game if i cant get a replacement lol because it is firing about 50% of the time correctly.

Craig

And thanks to everyone trying to help means alot
