put some grease on the thread... then flufy the inside to remove any excess that gets pushed into the breech may help it go in a bit further or at the least, pop out easier

Its about 1/2 thread and the o ring out, if looking from above. It is very strong when in place and is hard to undo at times.

that's how mine is with the stock barrel, never caused any issues.
