Ion stock barrel?

My stock barrel will not fully fit into the ion itself, but it is very sterdy. What shall i doe?

you mean thers a little gap? just add an oring onto the front of the thread

Ones already there. Would buying a new barrel (freak) make a difference or would it be the same?

May have been manufactured incorrectly and they missed a bit of the thread
or youve overtightened it and messed the thread up
if you know someeone else whos got an ion try there barrel

if it affects play, then change the barrel, if not then leave it.

If you dont have fat fingers, put the barrel on and put your finger down the feedneck (with marker off!!!) and try to feel if the barrel actually meets the breach.
If it doesn't, either the barrel or breach threads are machined incorrectly and you'll want to sort it out with whoever you had the gun from as it would surely be a warranty issue.
If it does, then dont worry about it

tighten the screw where the barrel is, thats what the problem with mine was

ironkid... when you next come to rebel, let me know, ill take a peek at it for you also, ill bring down my freak and you can see if thats any better if its not solved by any of the above things...

if you have added a new body kit, as the guy above says, tighten that main screw there! because for some reason i had to really screw hard to get it in since the new body just didn't seem to have the hole fully drilled in the exact place.

Its about 1/2 thread and the o ring out, if looking from above. It is very strong when in place and is hard to undo at times.
