I haven't seen one in action so (like I said above) what I said was based on research and talking to a few people.
So basically what your saying is it keeps all the cr4p out the solenoid, but it can't break the 17bps limit.
But, ramping (when turned on) breaks the firing mode up into 15 - 16 - 17 equal parts (depending on what bps you have the marker set to - For arguments sake, lets say 15bps) the marker will fire a shot every 1/15th of a second, its been programmed into the board. Surely having a QEV will not make the marker fire and a faster rate as the board won't allow it to cycle that fast.
I fully understand about getting rid of the cr4p in the marker, and I see that as a good thing, no quarms there. But I'm still bemused as to how, given the board is capped, a QEV will make the marker fire quicker. It doesn't seem possible.
Like I said, I haven't seen one in action, when I do I might realise why it can (if it does)
Hmm.. Still no closer to answering it at this time though.
