Freak Kit

Just been looking around, the 'Freak Kit' is quite expensive so will take me a while to save for it but can anyone suggest the best way to get them, either:

Buy the whole kit all together (anyone got a site that sells them cheap)

or

Buy all the parts seperately?

What I did was buy a freak back and front with one insert from the classifieds, then just put up a wanted ad for extra inserts. Ok you don't get a fancy case with your freak kit but it is indeed the cheapest way of sorting yourself out if you are just after the functional parts.

you should be able to pick up a full freak kit (front, back plus 8 inserts) for about £40-50 off here, the only problem being is that you'll need the ion/impulse threaaded back which is a bit of a rare find.

An alternative is to get a cocker threaded kit which is a lot more common and then upgrade your ion to a cocker threaded breech, though this option is naturally more expensive.

slightly off topic, but if you are looking rid of the cp trigger, drop me a pm with how much you want for it.

I bought an Ion for a laugh and a tinker with, have bought a lot of upgrade parts and fitted some for something to do in the evenings.

I normally shoot the 07 ego, but John C sorted my Ion for me and I am looking forward to getting a rip on it, in a perverse kind of way. It will never replace my Ego, but always good for a cheap emergency backup!!

What was wrong with it in the end?

T Board Programming

Just adjusted the settings on my T Board & now I love it even more. There are just a few settings/modes that I am unsure of, can anyone help me?

What is: CFOA, Nitro, PSP Ramping & NXL Auto???

Also, spoke to a guy at LIPS, he recommend that I went for a CP 2 Part Barrel rather than a Freak Kit, what do people think to that?

have you thought about getting a lucky barrel set?alot cheaper than a freak kit but only 3 sizes but those are normally all you need.
