well just to clear it up id forgot about writing about the battery from all the techy kinda stuff i was more important trying to put up

iv changed the battery 3+ times as i thought that was my original problem, also to point out a virtue board tells you when you have a dying battery ;) but iv changed it :p to be sure

hi guys

right my ion has virtue board in it, and thats about it for ups that will effect its performance.

when i turn on my marker all it does when i try to fire is phhh.

iv totally assessed the banjos etc and they all work fine, when i remove the front banjo next to eyes the bolt moves forward fully as its meant to but when i fix all the banjos and turn it on with the eys off all that happens is it phh out of the bottom of the noid when i try to fire, in the manual for virtue it says in the trouble shooting that in this occassion the amature is damaged or overpressured but the operating pressure is at 120 as it has always been through having my ion but my virtue board is brand new fromshop and hasnt worked since i got it its just been doing this!!! but the night before i installed my virtue my stock board was shooting fine.

my idea ov a conclusion is that the amature is bust and i need to replace it, does anyone else agree and if so how much for a new one?

thanks guys

120 psi sounds a little low for an Ion mine was set too low and wouldn't cycle properly try increasing pressure from reg until marker cycles then once cycling set your board up. I have a virtue in my Ion and have had no probs try cleaning your armature it should be dry and free from debris obviously, if you don't have a QEV fitted they can get clogged up with lube eventually. Hope this helps.:):):)

hemel hempsteead oooo love it
UP the dwell and operating reg pressure! reg pressure in an ion should be at around 180 with something around 22 for the dwell. pretty much a fact used to have similar problems wth my ion but then i bought a shocker ;)
