Ive got a mates ion, he managed to break it second time using it.

Basically i think hes gassed it up with too much pressure and blown the noid on it.

My question is, when the gun is powered up but not gassed up and you turn it on (without the eyes) does the noid click...like say a timmy or ego etc? Would that be a good indicator that the noid has blown or not?

Also anyone know how much one is (if it that that is f00ked) just so i know before i take it to SP for him.

it won't click from turning it on - only plling the trigger (apols gibbsey - i assume you know this and i've misread your post)

take the whole electrics/pneumatics out of the body attached to nothing (esp air) and re-connect the battery, then turn it on with eyes off. pull the trigger switch. you will feel the noid bar travel. if it doesn't = new board, if it does = sortable.

I doubt you'll have blown the noid from excess pressure, more likely the gauge, but reply back and i bet you a bazillion squazillion pounds i can tell you what it is...

you can't really buy a new noid - just a whole new board. I believe this is about 75 odd quid
