ION Lucky LBM Bolt

Hi does any one else have one of these and have trouble keeping it greased!?
after like 200 cycles it will already be bone dry and then the bolt will stick its very annoying
anybody got any ideas?

anyone who went to the northern quarter academy on sunday my remeber my stupid ion holding up the start of all of our games lol

What grease are you using Dow33?

I take it your using the Alu bolt rather than the plastic one.

no it is the plastic one

and i'm using dye slick lube

i have a little tube of pink lube that came in the oring kit i bought had forgotten all about that. perhaps that will be better?

The LBM bolt is teh plastic one...stands for Lucky Bolt Material!

Dye lube isnt that good at for bolts (I ran into similair problems using it on my DM5 bolt).

Try Dow33 or the pink stuff, or Slick Honey

I used the pink stuff (Socker lube - Dow 33) on my stock bolt and my orange carbon fibre bolt in my ion and they both worked quite beautifully.

Dye lube sucks, I would never use it on my guns.

Dow33 is all round pretty good, but Slick honey is awsome too.

Smartparts themselves sell the stuff, but that would cost 10 quid postage....
