Basicly for the £20 ish quid for a new one is it worth pissing about with loctite if so how do I do it without damaging gun

You put a DROP at the start of the threads, and a DROP near the end of the threads.
Notice I said a DROP. Then just try and rotate the screw a bit while holding it in the air to try and run it around as much of the thread as possible before screwing it in. Then let cure for however long it says on the tube, a day I think.
Exceeding recommended dosage could lead to:
Headaches
Swelling
Blocked airways
New Solenoids.

And its not my fault Ions are stupid enough to get their own wires in their own switches

Yes, on the QEV only. Make sure the QEV thread is clean, and so are the threads your screwing it into

Hmm, being a 360 QEV it could be one of a number of problems.

Its tricky to judge from your pics, but I would say the seal between your QEV and body is fine, it must be an internal leak in the QEV.

Try it with a different QEV or the stock banjo.

but when I put tape aroung the QEV threads the leak like slowed down, so its the QEV not the breach then.

That would make sense as I can't see any damage to the threads.
