Ion feed tube Problems?

Hey All
I am trying to replace the standard feed tube with a Q-lock on my Ion,
but i cant get the Feed tube out, is it just a matter of unscrewing?
I just cant beleave how stiff it is. Im sure i am just being very stupid and missing something. any help will be much appreciated.

All you do is unscrew it but it will be in very tight, just a good bit of elbow grease will do the trick

heat it with a hair dryer

well your not joking about it being tight.... might have to get some heavy duty toys out...
thought it was that but needed to be sure...

very easy way......some of you guys may not approve though

if you got a halo, push it in as far as it goes, o-ring normally grips to it very tightly........then turn with some force, and it should come out with ease

as mentioned when putting new one in make sure you allign it up properly
