Still undecided but trending towards the dye's.. I have a pin head and they should be good lol.

As for PeteB ... I will be back in force this year so get yourself a BIG rag ... yer gonna need it. won't matter what mask you wear no one will be able to see it through my paint lol

I have a friend in the States who has worn profilers for the past couple years (NPS sponsored team) and switched to Vents for a couple games at the World Cup...he hated them, sold them and brought out his profilers. (Kai83 on PbN if anyone cares)

And you'll be waiting ages, the production has been delayed for whatever reason.


Anyways, back on topic, I would go for the Profiler as I have never had my pair fog up on me, are super comfortable and the Invisions feel so small on my head.

If you keep the lens clean or in good condition then the profilers will very very rarely fog if ever- whenever i had a problem (once) i just swapped the lense for a new one problem solved- think in all i wore them for around 11 months and only had that one problem with steaming up.

Never had a problem with my protos, awesome goggle

Just to back AB up I have also heard the Proto goggle line is awesome. Supposedly really comfortable, easy to change the lens, no distortion etc.

Oh and whoever said get a Flex 8 over a Proflex, why do you think all of the JT sponsored teams wore the Flex 8 for a couple games and then stopped using them?

A guy who plays at my place just got rid of his protos because he never got thru a day without them fogging now he uses profilers and no probs, very handy cause at the time i was about to go proto myself but after that i got the vantage which has never fogged, so i guess the moral of the story is whats good for i isnt always good for another. and buyer beware when u take advice from anyone that is sponsored by thefirm that makes particular piece of kit cause they couldnt exactly slag it wether they wanted to or not

But in seriousness

the lense change system and the security of it once in place, amount of protection, and (my and quite a few others) experience of lack of fogging issues does mean the proto goggs are a very real alternative.

Probably the single biggest way to prevent fogging in any goggle system is frequently replaced lenses and cleaning them properly after hits and a days play, thermal or not.

Everyone says it whether it be for gats or goggles etc - try them both and then go from there.

Gone for the profilers... having used proflex all these years.. the Dyes have a similar feel to em and still look pretty cool.. tho not as cool as the profilers it has to be said... but then everyone seems to be wearing em now. I3's are a little rarer where I play.

Anyway... Problem solved.... NICE ONE!!!!
