If you've reset the board to default settings.
Then try everything in the process I stated above, that should solve your problem.
Also try replacing the battery if you have not done so already, all of this should fix your problem, if not then it may be that the standard board dwell is slightly low for your mini and needs to be raised 1-2 ms, refer to your board manual.

Thanks again mate, would give it a go but i have just ran out of air, will post up how i get on. So can not wait for my ego to turn up. Saying that i do the love the mini but it is becoming troublesome.

eclipse make great markers, I've got an upped Etek2 at the moment that is just amazing, but I used to have a mini and they are great markers as well if you don't mess around with them to much, to be honest I don't understand why people bother upgrading them, only thing I would change probably would be the barrel to something really good like a stiffi, other than that only reason you would change the board is if you want breakout modes and all that other crap you can do with aftermarket boards. Try all of the above and I'm sure it'll be sorted in no time.
