Hi, I'm not sure what generation it is but i bought it brand new September last year if that helps. It was the newest one then. Also i used it just for a summer. I played maybe 4-5 times with it. nothing serious.

Its 3rd Gen, you can tell by the 4 "holes" in the silver thingie on the bottom of the ASA

Also the box should be either white or black, with red on the inside

If it has none of the above and im just being blind, then its a 2nd gen, because that colour wasnt released in 1st gen i dont think, and 1st gens come with a metal box
