agreed pink, us front guys definatly have the bigger bunkers these days, giving the front guys more space to move and the back guys less to hide behind has definatly forced teams to adopt a more agressive stance.

as for the length of the marker, i think thats down to personal preference, for example i personally use a half block mini cocker which weighs next to nothing compaired to some markers and its absolutly tiny BUT i still use a 16 inch barrel so i can tuck into a bunker and push my barrel out.
so id say that as a front player the length of the marker doesnt bother me, i am more concered with having a marker that is light weight...thats why i built my marker the way i did!

Thats what I love about paintball, no matter how you cut it, it always comes down to personal preference. This might be a little of subject but I do have a question for some of you more techy oriented crazies, what do you think about these a4s? One of our guys is picking one up but Im shaky about it. I like the way they feel but plastic parts? And they already have replacement kits out? Does anyone have a good amount of intel about these things?

they are nice and light, very easy to swing about. damn fast in the right hands too......as you say its a personal thing, i personally dont find angels as well balanced as a cocker

as for replacment kits being available that is a good thing, so if you blow a seal you can get em instead of having to search high and low for one o-ring!

I agree about kits for o rings and that junk but kits to replace the new plastic parts, i.e. the new trigger adjt., bothers me. It might just be a way of making sure if you have an issue it can be taken care of, but it could also mean expectation of problems too right?

plastic parts??? Theres only about 5 plastic parts in the marker and it aint like u gonan have to replace em anytime soon. Theres 3 buttons, the sensi rod and blue thing thats at the bottom of the sensi rod. Also anything on an angel that goes wrong will be fixed for free by wdp pending its under waranty.

Bandit, what you said about personal preference is the absolute truth. Timmies work for me, they might not do it for you...

Something that worries me about the two latest Angels (Speed and A4) is the optical switch....
I train with some guys, and it's happened more than once that I shot someone on the hand/trigger guard, and paint has gone into the hole that the switch "sees" through. When that happens, the Angels won't shoot...
This can be prevented by sticking some clear tape over the hole, but I feel it shouldn't be that way...

The two latest Angel models aren't the only one's that have an optical switch, that was released during mem4 of the IR3's. The optical switch gives you the ability to make your trigger pull EXTREMELY light and short, and it lasts 30% longer than microswitches, and since you're the first person I've ever heard even mention problems with it, I think it's a much better choice than microswitch.
