Injuries

Two days of paintball at the Marchbrook team practice this past weekend and No injurys at all from the field.
BUT, from the party on Saturday night I have:-
A number of bruises. ( a child's tricycle and a ramp....loads of fun)
Smouldering head. ( they set my head on fire.)
Bald patch. ( then they scalped me.)
But it was a great weekend, thanks to everyone.

I' ve only had two injuries one was
I was playing a woodland game and as i slid into a bunker i had a stick smash straight through my knee cap and out the back of my knee. It hurt like hell as it took all the cartilage out my knee.
The other one was where i was on a fort ant out of stupidity i stepped backwards and fell off the fort and dislocated my shoulder. As a tip look behind you before you walk backwards.

I haven't had any real injuries yet. The worst was when I ran around a bunker held by our team, and one of the guys there freaked out and shot me from less than 3 feet away. He must've thought I was trying to bunker him. It stung and it bled for the rest of the day. bout it
Worst I have seen is...
this guy slid feet first got stabbed in the ass by a stob. BIG puncture wound in the right cheek. He had to be carried away on a stretcher. Really bloody. My worst was when I broke the end of my finger by sticking it in my impulse's barrel. Walking around, I stumbled and hit the trigger. FA, at least five balls broke on my finger, shattering the end phalange. Needless to say, the stock board went back in and the barrel stays off when I am working on it.

I've never had any broken bones type injuries but I got mugged in a real classy way by Ollie Lang at the Campaign Cup this year. Point blank in the kidneys. It REALLY hurt but I was dead cool, didn't even blink. Just put me marker up and walked. Lots of people went "oooo!" when they saw the marks. Still got them! The Campaign Cup DVD crew filmed it so with any luck Niall will include it in the DVD.
