ok i havent seen a threadlike this one been put up so i am,
basically this is a thread to put in your worst injuries playing paintball.eveyone get them no matter how good you are or how good you think you are there will allways be a time hen you were hit in neck at pointblank range or ran in a ravine and got hammered by the hoe team who were hinding in there.
although im new my worst injury playing paintball was being hit inside the mouth,we were wearig those sh*t face guards which are worn 1000 times and only protect your eyes and part of your mouth,anyway
i look up at someone in a bridge and was gettin ready to shoot but there was someone about 10m awa who saw me looking up and he took a shoot,as i was looking up the paintball went under the face guard and smashed me in the mouth
the pain was horrible and it was cold outside to so it just went numb,i didnt have the strength to get up cos the pain was so bad,so he started shooting me again.lol(newbies never knw when to quite)

while playing last year a friend done a dive behind a bush,landed a bit wrong and had developed a limp.this didnt go away so 4 days later he had a doc check it out.not only had he broken his ankle in 2 places but he had carried on playing and was walking on it for 4 days!

Ouch....

last month i was playing rec at my local, and i got to the top of this little cliff face right on the edge of the boundary tape... poked my head up, took 2 in the mask, fell backwards, broke my leg and ripped my hand open....

it kinda stung...

BTW..

i also took one in the mouth a while ago, i was laid up in a ditch, pressed my back againest the wall of it, snapped my head back, and it went under the mask, from about 7 foot away.... that stung too

I managed to convince a bunch of people to come along to a new indoor site, while sneaking up on a bunker the guy behind it popped up. I darted sideways, straight off a suprise drop & dislocated my ankle when I hit the floor. Worst part was after I managed to get out of the play area the marshalls came over, watched me throw up (some serious pain) then walked off to continue the game letting me happily freeze my ass off and go into shock.

Still, 10 mins later the game ended and they took me to the reception area, although it took another 30 mins before someone was free from marshalling to drive me to hopital.

Got it in da balls, point blank, richochet off the ground so it hit him going UP. Nuff said, wasn't usin a cup neither.

failed to hurt myself seriously yet,
yet one of the gz guys this year at mayhem, ow that must of hurt!
went diving into a barricade and dislocated his shoulder!

You call those injuries?

Lemme see if I can remember them all.

Slashed my foot open on something sharp in the woods, 4 stitches and a tetnus shot.
Fell off a hidden drop, landed on my left knee. Rather than my knee shattering, the energy was transfered up to my backbone where L3 and L4 LOCKED at over a 20 degree angle from true. 3 years of therapy and it's basically back to normal.
Broke my ankle playing a few months ago, and tha'ts all I want to say 'till thigns get ironed out.
slid on gravel giving a laceration that gouged 1/2 an inch into my knee, bled for 4 days, played on the bad knee and a bandage that I bled through.
slashed fingers on a hyperball tube, bled a while, hurt like an SOB to clean up.
floating bone chip in my left elbow, but IT hink that was a volleyball injury.
Gangelon on my right wrist that, occasionally, makes it hard to type.
Twisted my ankle a few times before the break, so I have to wear a brace on bad flare days.
Recurring gout, usually flaring up in my ankle, the bad one, so I wear a brace AND take massive painkillers....

And people give me a hard time because I stick a cane in my JT gear bag. "Oh, it's a prop." No, boys and girls, it's not. It's something I pray I never need to use, but expect to be on it before the day is over.

And I'm only 30. I'll be lucky to walk when I'm 50...

bloody hell m8,thats a lot of injuries.Are you sure you should still play?,i mean thats alot of injuries for one person to take and they all sounded really bad.
are you just unlucky or somthing?,i havent heard anyone have so many bad injuries from one person
