thats down to the paint.... the fps... and the completely (almost) random physics involved to determine the spin on the ball and hence force on your skin when the ball hits it....

Yep, there could be a problem with him having some kind of calcium defficiency or theres some weak bone disease/thing ive heard about. Maybe he should get checked out to see.

Or maybe, just maybe, he broke it without knowing like from a fall or something and the adrenalin pumping through him from the excitement of playing kept him going without knowing for a while(yes thats entirely possible).

Sounds a little stupid^^ But its still a possibility.

As for the PMR dispute I dont see how it can 'hurt' more than other markers.

Get away man!

I got shot in the thigh from about 5 feet away by an inferno MkII with the hardest old site paint you could imagine. It bloody hurt (felt like I'd been stung by a couple of wasp's all in one go) and I had an instant bruise and a little bit of bleeding, but in know way could I imagine you ever getting a broken bone unless you've got a medical condition of some kind.

If you have a medical condition that means you have brittle bones, then you shouldnt be out playing paintball.

Is it April's fools day for the second time this year?

Stories like this 'could' give paintball bad press.

Edit: Blimey PROTO, a sensible reasoned post. Well done that man!!
