it could be a few things, too low dwell, see manual, bolt incorrectly seated in rammer, kink in the tubing inside the gripframe, lpr pressure too low, hpr pressure too low, bad battery(1st to check).

It would help if you tell us Hpr pressure, and if you have a fresh duracell battery in there. also which board, if you know, and is there any leaks.

Detents, dont worry bout them, unless the ball rolls out the barrel before a shot is fired.

I have been making hybrid icd guns for a long while and have a promaster right here.

make sure its giving a good output pressure also (whilst not gassed) remove the lpr and make sure the metal circle (dont know correct name) is in the right way

btw, if you've still got the spares which came with it there should be a couple of detents in there
