Depends on how old it is. The early ones are loctited in, and I wouldn't recommend removing them, as they're dead hard to loctite back in. The newer impulses (certainly from vision onwards) have screw threads - just be careful u don't strip those threads on the way out, or else it's new body time (or lots of STRONG loctite :D)

Better to scratch the old feedneck on the way out than to have to fork out for a new body. :(

Not necessarily... Rich's feedneck isn't threaded. He isn't about to try to remove it because of this exact reason. It's smooth metal against smooth metal... and you of all people should know how hard it is to get Loctite to stick... ;)

Steve - I would also recommend the voodoo foregrip from SP. With the elbow at the bottom of it, you have a full 3.5ish inches to grip onto.
