Cheaper yes, but if your firing around 5 pots of paint in a game, your bottle will freeze then you have a very cold gun! Also if its raining then you have an ice gun!!

It happended to one of my mates this weekend, very amusing.

Also CO2 isnt as consistant for the chrono, and can cause drop off.

My man Mark beat me to you, but your facts aren't straight. Yes C02 does tend to freeze in the winter months. But it is consistent over the chrono. I have seen it as good as +/- 2 with C02 on an Impulse. Corrct me if I am wrong Mark, but wasn't the Impulse designed to run on C02?

Dont know that for sure but it is at least good with either. We used to use CO2 through our Shockers and used it in our Imps when we first got them.

I only changed because of the marginal weight difference and convenience.

Oh and getting parts of my body fozen to the valve on damp days when freezing the bottle down!!!

I think they work better on Co2 because they only require a low pressure to get working. If the outputs around 200psi of the maxflow it'll only need 400-500psi going in, Co2 inputs at 800psi so even if the pressure drops to 500psi during firing the maxflow can cope (with its dual regging magic stuff) and keep it constant.

Thats a guess.

Get the imp mate..You'll love it..But try and try it first.U can try mine if u go sparklies on 23rd.

As for co2,it's very consistent so there's not much urgency for an air system.But if you rapid fire a bit too much the pressure will shoot up and ur gun will go "PsssshhhhhshshshhshshhshSh!!" and ur reg will ice up etc.Quite scary.Try not to fan the trigger too much and should be ok.
