SOLENOID

TRY ONE OF THE SOLENOID OPTIMIZERS WHICH WILL ENHANCE YOU'RE SHOT TO SHOT CONSISTENCY AND GIVE MORE AIR TO SPARE. IGNORE THE REG UPPGRADE THE ONE THAT COMES WITH THE GUN I GREAT (IT MAYBE THE BEST) AND THE IMPULSE IS LOW PRESSURE ALREADY. BY THE WAY THE FULLFLOW SHOULD MAKE DRY FIRING TROUBLEFREE BY ISOLATING AIR SUPPLY FOR CYCLING.

Off topic but On topic.Kind of.

I got an Impulse with a solenoid and it does what it says on the tin.and it's cheap too.Just remember to adjust the dwell after doing so...
Off topic.Do you think it is okay to use my impulse in rec-ball or should buy a cheapo tippman or something? It seems like my Impulse wouldnt withstand the battering.Maybe it's just me not wanting to scratch it.
what do you think?

You should see what touny players put their markers through! Im sure that an impulse would work fine in a Rec environment, the only thing is dirt getting inside, and the only way thats gonna happen is via the feed tube or barrel.

The reg upgrade we are talking about is a Low Pressure Reg... this allows you to separate the bolt cycling pressure from the pressure of the air that actually fires the ball. The Impulse runs at 150-200ish psi which is far more than you actrually need going through your solenoid to cycle the bolt and hammer... the LPR allows you to drop the cycling pressure and increase the firing pressure which makes the marker as a whole more efficient. Yes the stock reg is good but does not perform this function at all... you still need the stock or similar reg to maintain your firing pressure with the LPS mod... its not a reg upgrade but a modification to increase efficiency.
