The impulse's problem wasnt really ROF it was more being able to sustain high ROF with drop off with stock internals. The impulse from stock was a very badly balanced marker and most people sorted this out by replacing the alloy bolt for delrin, to compensate they would replace the hammer from alloy to SS or brass and normally replace the valve also. it makes a significant difference to how the impulse fires and will increase your efficiency slightly, if you want to push the boat out id recomend an LPR Mount and a LPR to give your solenoid an easy ride and reduce the kick of the gun slightly
Tell us exactly whats fitted to it at minute including board and we can advise you from there. I-frames were a very nice upgrade but not to everyones taste (i didnt like it).
Balfs home mod is your cheapest bet and does work WAS boards arent the easiest to get your hands on and buying new wont be cheap
Since my days of using Impulses i'd recomend a toxic trigger if you can still get them, although if CP do one i'd recomend that, CP are pretty much spot on with triggers
