hmm i don't over like that saying that impulses are things the kids buy because they can't afford angels.

the only reason angels are expensive is because they make the thing so that it can eve tell you what weather it is going to be etc etc.
Lots's of useless features.

don't get me wrong angels are nice verry nice guns and i would pick a stock angel over a stock impulse.

But once you get looking in to the impulse marked a bit then you will realise you will get one that outperforms an angel for less money.

now choosing a marker is a verry personal thing. the first i would sujest is to try all the markers you are interested in. how do they feel to you?

now i am slightly byassed towards impulses so here comes my ratings.
stock impulse 90(towards a stock angel lcd)
tricked out impulse 150(depending on wich one, examples: nasty impulse, adrenalin impulse,...)

for more info on the impulse you can look at http://www.impulseownersgroup.com/ they offer you verry good response to any questions or problems. Be sure to check out the picture section and look at my impulse(hehe nasty impulse 226)

also check out the nasty impulse at www.paintballwholesalers.com

hope this helped

When you make it as good as a angel it is usually the same or even sometimes, well most times more expensive then a angel

Heres one for the pot. . .

How about a AKA Viking?

Super efficient (1100+ shots out of a 45ci/45, near 2000 from a 68ci/45)
Low Pressure (180-200psi operating, 60-65psi bolt pressure), Easiest gun on this planet to maintain (the instruction literally are wipe the bolt, put couple drop of oil on bolt and in the air receiver.. . dry fire. . hey presto .. .done! No O rings at all to replace)
No performance upgrades possible since it comes with a Tornado valve, Lightning bolt etc. (Unless you want change the trigger or feed neck)
When the new software is released (currently in testing) you'll be able set the ROF to whatever you want (currently 27.7bps with a HALO B is sounding very impressive!)

I have to say after trying Doo-Doo's Viking was very impressed, I urge anyone looking for a high performance marker to give one a try.

Paul.
