ok phil, i bow to you techie greatness.
i guess theres a differance between guidelines and reality.
i blast away on most markers to be honest, without a thought, but i keep being told its bad for them.
At least now if something breaks i can blame it on you! :D

Dry Fire

Young man,

Blame away !!! If something breaks it was gonna break anyway, it had come to the end of its life cycle !!!!

I feel no harm will come and you will have great pleasure playing with your weapon !!!!!

hhummmpf.... not sure Weapon is a very paintbally term. you should advocate the use of marker and elimination, instead of guns and kills.
after all you represent one of the big names in the paintball industry on this forum :D

now im just being annoying:rolleyes:

Turn your Delrin bolt upside down, to reduce the noise of your complaining woman..........and marker!

But dont do it with a standard bolt, cause the o-rings get caught and your bolt jams!

Upside down bolts !!!

Rob,

At Campaign I put my 2nd gun on display for everone to fire, it was connected to a dive tank and shot the whole tank about 3 times. Because of the noise Nick T decided to turn the bolt upside down. He did this and the day went on. Later we degased the marker and I decided to re-grease it but I could not remove the hammer assembly.

After further investigation what had happened was the bolt pin had been put in front of the hammer and about 100 players fired it, the pin bent the hammer head out of shape and only a hammer would remove it.

Result !!!!!!!!!!

One shagged body, one large bill and one unhappy guy !!!!!!

Dont do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the noise!!!!!!

Bolt Prob

Guy's
The hammer did stay forward but the chamber didn't and thats what caused the damage. People didn't care that the bolt didn't move they just love the speed.

I had the same problem when my valve snapped in half, the guy i lent it too played with it regardless (even though balls were dropping out of the barrel) and when i stripped my marked i discovered that half the valve had been scrapped up and down the hammer chamber all day !!

Nice :(
