I am based in Bristol but I do alot of travelling around the country.

If you have plateaued at 66kg you are doing something very wrong. You start to get very difficult plateaus that are difficult to overcome without a very serious routine at 130-140kg region for 1rm, I had to get over that hurdle myself a about 1.5-2 years ago was not fun but felt great when I repped 150 for the first time(if you think thats good you should see what I can do on a squat). And I am not the size of arnie or anything I am tall and have a big chest but I am not massive in terms of size of muscle.

Like I said if you want help give me a shout.

yes what john said is true it is possible as i have also done a feet like that, in my job i need bit of strength so went gym and also dug out a copy of arnold schwarzenegger's body building book(works a treat), train rest and 7 small meals a day, keep the protein in the body as that is the muscle only a small percentage of protein stays in the body the rest comes out i.e in wee and poo, so by having small meals but more of them there is always protein in theb ody build the muscle then tone it to ur needs, i.e if you want mass whats the point in a cardio vascular work out as you are loosin weight instead of puttin it on, but running my personnel opinion is do a days training hard but not 2 hard as to hurt yourself, then have a days rest then train again the next day, eat before you train and eat after you train get the protein and carbs back in the body, my "running" training is running squats, leg curls, toe raises, hell raises the list goes on but it works.

listen to john he will have the knowledge, alot of people in gyms chat b*ll*cks and know not enough which is dangerous, dontget home gym as you will injure yourself and ask around for decent gym dont go to the first one you see or join a running club!

Dude to be honest as with most body building books there are flaws in Arnies books. There different strategies to nutritional needs but a body builders diet is TOTALLY unsuitable for Joe bloggs. Unfortunately many pro body builders believe they know what they are doing but can often over stress the kidneys with excessive protein and lots and lots of them have full kidney failure and have to start dialisis(not sure if that is right spelling, aritifical kidney anyway). There is no advantage to consuming more than the 1.4g of protein per kg of bodyweight, there effects can be maximised by taking them at certain points of the day though, but going much beyond this has no advantage and much over that in the long term(consistently going a long way over this) could lead to problems.

well im sure john knows alot more about it than me but ther arnie book is the best book on this stuff i have ever read, i have had two of the greatest trainers in my opinion they have bin in the body building industry for well over 15 years one owns his own gym and one is a fellow prison officer so they have taught me alot, its a science to it, cant just go out there and pump iron then think it will work alone, training is only 1/3 of the battle, when i started working in the prison service i was 11 stone am now 13 stone 6lbs and have got my running times on the track down alot and also my bench press up.

Given the fact that you have said they are in the body building industry I would assume that they have used artifical  help with their training?

This in itself is HIGHLY questionable. I am sure they think they know what they are doing but sport science is a very rapidly developling area and techniques are constantly changing. Remember when Arnie competed Steroids were openly taken by all competitors but they are now banned(though still widely used, except in the Natural circuit).

If anyone would like help I amhappy to do what I can, be it run sessions with you/ your team or just some friendly tips over PM.

Also..if anyone has an good ideas on how to prevent/reduce muscle cramps (get bloody cramp in my legs sometimes when playing ball, not funny!!

Skeet happy to help you out cramping is normally down to chemical imbalances in the muslce. Lactic acid and fibrositis (think that is right spelling).

Give me a sec and I will just write some methods of stopping it out.

no they do not take artifical help such as steroids due to the fact of morales, his brother has t otake steroids to keep him alive not sure on details but thats not my placce to ask so if he took them it sort of is a slap in the face to do it for personnel use, they do everything clean and im the same way, i agree arnies era steroids was taken openly but also there where alot of atheletes wh o trained hard and stayed clean of stereoids that have huge muscle mass, im in the gym 2 hours every other day to do simple but effective routines dont rush it have my break of 1 minute between sets keep hydrated etc etc. and eat healthy food as soon as i get home from training.

happy birthday skeet, and cramps are good, moan a little bit louder whilst playin tell us where ya are.
