The insurers are in the process of producing the required documents and they should be with me early next week.

The UKPSF players insurance registration system will be reactivated when the web tech has sorted out a server move. If players register they will be covered once they have a PayPal receipt BUT the membership cards will not be posted for 10-14 days as I have to concentrate on my own business until the end of the month.

Thank you for all the support and comments, the final factor was the threat of a horses head in my bed if I didn't reconsider !!!!

If all goes to plan I will be at the CPPS and you can ask questions face to face and get honest answers

Steve

Its good news that this has continued but lets try to make sure this is checked correctly instead of numbers just put onto paper and not being checked

I think it appropriate to flag up something here guys in that Asylum Killer [Glen] may well be coming under the spotlight for showing some displeasure at the proposals for insurance requirements in the CPPS.
It's important to note here [and he's a bit too humble to state as much] that when Glen refers to his 'kids' , he's not referring to his own children, he is talking about the young kids he has been looking after and nurturing through our game in the past years.

Asylum Killer has for a long time been investing his time and resources into these kids to try and give them a start in this sport of ours and when the 15 quid levy was announced, I think it hit Glen right between the eyes because it meant he was going to have to pay for them.

Of course he doesn't have to pay for anybody but as far as I know guys, he is helping these guys out and looking out for them and so maybe things ain't what they seem sometimes, leastwise it was when I went off on one with Asylum Killer.

I am damned sure AK would never question Bully or his work and maybe the reaction was caused by an initial post that probably could have been worded a little better instead of coming across a little Draconian in its message and Glen just reacted ... we've all done it I'm sure.
Anyway, I think we have all learned a lesson here, everyone of us and I hope we can all put it behind us and hope Bully reconsiders his position.

If Bully doesn't, then it means I gotta get all criminal on his ass and 'persuade' him :)

Thanks Robbo!!!!!!!!!!. Never meant for anyone to get insulted by my questions, I had no idea that our genuine queries would have such a profound effect on Bully.......sorry Bully!.

After a nice holiday and time to weigh up the options "So Manc" will be registering with the UKPSF. I have now had all my queries answered and am 100% behind the UKPSF and the Federation.

Remember guys, this is an open-forum and people will air their veiws, quite rightly so!. If you consider the subject matter, the thread, the amount of veiws on the thread and the vast number of replies to the thread then we can only ascertain that this has been a very constructive debate that will benefit paintball in the UK generally. Power to the players and all that.

Much Love

Glen. (aka AK) lol
