lol..Been talking to my sons girlfriend, whom happens to live in the states & asked if she could post ordered good from there to the UK from ordering direct from the manufactures, they do it all the time as they still have family in the UK, they change the package & mark it as a gift & as long it has the senders address on the back & not a suppliers Addy, they have had no problem...
Apart from no warentee cover, thats a pretty sweet deal you got going ;)

No you still get a warranty, as purchaser buys it as a gift so the warranty can be transferred...

I know you are all going to say that the warranty is no good in this country BUT when/if you do get a problem you send back to the addressee & ask them to sort it out for you...

And as my sons girlfriend frequency the country quite often she'll be able to take back if a problem ever occurred..

But i don't buy in the USA only if it's unavailable in this country...

How long does it take to get a package from her to you? As if its a couple of days then fair play
