sorry by the ghetto pod, i mean making a rediculously cheap pod (i know pods are cheap anyway) so i got a deoderant can, took the top off, shaved the top off and smoothed it down, and i'm going to put a ring through the lid, and fibreglass it, so it's one piece, so it can come off easier (it's light, it will store arround 50 balls, and it's ... really ghetto. i'll put some pics of it up tomorrow. anyone know where i can get a little injection resin (i guess that a form of epoxy will do?)
Is that not, just a complete waste of time and effort?
I mean, yeah..cool..but...why?

And..ridiculously cheap? Requires one can of deoderant, one pack of fibre matt, one epoxy kit etc????? Can anyone say "Bovered!!"

What happens to fiberglass cars in an accident!

Though, to be fair, a paintball wouldn't do that, a cylindrical object like a pod would be quite strong, though rough on the inside where the mat is, lots of breaks in the pod!

You need a releasing agent (wax) on your buck (the opposite of a mould) and then the glass fibre mat goes round that, then the resin is applied (like epoxy a two part mix) and layered up. I'm sure if you google you'll find plenty of explanations of the process.

Car shops usually sell small kits of mat and resin for bodging up holes in bodywork.

I'm sure the (Headworks?) statues and pyramids on punter sites ar glass fibre, over a wooden frame.
