Had a chat with owner today. To give you rough ideas of pricing, finishes and turn around.

First off the coating used is very durable. Comes in satin, matt and gloss finishes. Gloss would incure a slight extra charge to cover extra work needed to get the finish. The coating will only be put on outside of the marker with all internals being blocked off before coating.

The company has done some paintball equipment before. Only concern he had was with tight fitting parts. Like eye covers. But care would be taken with these parts. If they have been pointed out first. Markers would have to be stripped down before sending in.

The turn round is normally 2-3 weeks. Owner is in hospital at moment. So only one person on site so may take a little longer.

The price quoted for full job was £200. It was quoted on there being about 10 items. That would be body, frame, trigger, 2 eye covers, feed neck, reg body and hopper.

Body and frame on it's own would be £80-100

Hopper on it's own £35.

Been following this thread want to get a body coated to match in with one of those Empire check covers, how thick is the coating,, cos say take an Ego, you can mask out screw threads etc etc but what about the breach where the bolt sits wouldnt the thickness of the coating on top of the annodising cause o-ring problems or worse like the bolt not fitting back at all.
Cool stuff though.
