Old School, New Tricks
You know, it has the Splatmaster grip, but for the life of me I've NEVER Seen one that looks like that! How in the world did that pump get jurry-rigged into that?!?!?

And it's a Splatmaster, the printing on the side pretty much tells the story. They DID make them in black plastic too, kinda like the GZ-1000's.

Look at it.
IT IS A SPLATTY...
hehe.
Look at the trigger guard and the trigger.
The top barrel was cut off because it had a stick feed.

I'll send this page to Jez. He'll be chuffed:D
Yes I have have several in fact and the first time I ever played I used a friends Splatmaster Rapide with a four tube rotating magazine, but back to your pic...1 it is a black marker...honestly didn't know they came in black (thanks Tyger) and 2 The site I began playing at when I bought my first marker used Splatmasters as site guns, 3 the pic is not close enough to be able to see that a hacksaw has been taken to it, 4 the 12 gram release screw is way bigger than all the ones I had previously used/seen.

No way is that vertical...'cos last time I looked vertical meant straight up not standard side feed (side feed now even has a different meaning, emags etc) If you want to identify something in future or want to confirm something we need CLOSE-UPS, you have the marker in your hands to look at

I did say that Tyger or Manike would know for sure, and Tyger I have seen Splatmasters rigged with stocks and pump arms and "constant air" (7oz bottle)...I even seem to remember PGI as it was way back printing some of those very same pics...cue Rancid ;)

had a closer look, mmmm yes i do remember seeing splats in black, tho i think most were green, and looking at that pic it looks like a pump has been rigged onto the plunger and the rest of the thing appears to be cut away completely!
mad as a box of spiders!:D

Hehe..
Right then......
1. It was a splatty from '89. He sprayed it black.
3. The pictures were taken 14 years ago. I'll ask him if he's still got it.
The 12 gram release was a cotton reel.

Ok ok it's not vert feed 'per se' but a stick feed splatty!!!, it's a shame that weenie feeds weren't 'invented then.
250 ball hopper on a splatty...luvely
I can't remember where he got the pump from but it was attached to the plunger with 2 cable ties.
If I can remember correctly the velocity adjuster was in the plunger.

There are only 2 piccy of this beast..

This is the other one:D
