Something that has nothing too do with paintball...but sounds vageuly cool, like...Red Shift. yeah and itd be red-black fade, with more shiney bits than you can shake a stick at...lol
Red shift sounds really cool I'd buy a marker with that for a name oh and the gun would have to be good to

All redshift results in a shift in frequency of light photons towards a lower energy (ie, longer wavelength). And as we all know, lower wavelengths produce red light, whereas shorter wavelengths product blue light (yes, there is such a thing as blueshift).
What you're referring to is Cosmological Redshift, which causes light to redshift as the expanding space "stretches" the wavelength of light as it traverses said space.

blueshift sounds stupid to me
