It's the old amiga/st, pc/mac, x-box/ps2 argument........... you can't help liking what you've bought and you spend most of the review trying to convince yourself that you've got the right one, rather than weighing up the pro's and cons...........having said that, how many "real" reviews can be completely impartial..... it must be difficult to put anything negative in a review of an advertisers product. Then again, the review archives on P8 are pretty realistic.

How about a reader photo gallery? (hosted) from tournaments and stuff..... keep the good ones, chuck the crap each month..... give people another reason to look at the site.

Now that's a good idea!!! So long as the "Isn't my gun great" posts are kept to a minimum.

Tournament action shots would be good. More and more people take cameras to tournaments, and it'd be nice to see some.

Yep we'd like to see some as well. We've been asking for pics for the site and mag for years.... but unfortunately, it's all promises, promises.

Have you? First I heard about it......

What sort of piccies you after, and more importantly, what resolution would you want them in? If we're talking digi cameras, what sort of Megapixel would be required to be good enough for the boards? Obviously we're not talking webcams......

Erm, hang on.... Rancid..... can you please say something sarcastic and droll..... I'm not used to reading your posts without some form of dry wit attatched......

Or am I being stupid and have missed the whole point of your post..... Now I'm confused and scared....... :(

Please don't be scared.

Cripes Tony, I can't pin it down to when, but I know that since when I was editor (like way back), through all the eds (including duffy) we've always been pleading for pics. I always wanted to have a section in the mag that was full of pics of teams, and socials, and tournies, and ****.... you'd get a few (but more often promises as I say), and then that's be it - or it'd be the same teams time after time. The real oldies out there may remember it as 'Great Society' in the mag? No? Oh well.

And I think even in the last year, we were to set up a section on P8 dedicated to Brit teams and tournies - due to popular demand - do you know how many we got sent in? None.

As for formats, well mate you'll have to ask Ant the current editor, cos back in my day it was all line drawings.:)
