Mother, is that you?
Hey, here's an idea... why don't we delete all the posts bar the first one and start again.

I thought half-term was over.

EDIT ADDED--Okay. All posts but this and first one deleted. Let's try this again. Your Humble Moder8or ;)

Freedom of speech!!!!!!

nah, just kidding, the thread was getting ikky anyway.

Definately a classifieds section with ratings...... stop the newbies from getting stung so badly....... £300 for a diablo sabotage is my favourite so far. or £300 for a level 4 mag on C02.

I know a few websites have started to do this but,

When buying a marker it would be great if you could see a small video clip of the marker in action, just so you know what your buying, also a 3D view of products would be great since you would be able to see your nice shiny peice of kit from all sides......

Would you need sponsors to help fund it? It's better when you see reviews of kit, teams, paint etc that is completely unbiased and does not have affiliations with any other companies.

Who would it be aimed at? Rec/tourney/newbie/non-players i.e. what would your topics include - millenium/walk-on/punter site etc

Most of us who peruse this site, look at others as well, so you're guaranteed some interest already, but it depends if you want to appeal to us or to those who don't know much about the sport.

It's a brave venture - all the best! :)

(Sorry about my previous comments - I would have replied seriously to your post, but I was provoked! )

Personally, I think the reader reviews of products are pretty good - even though they tend always to contradict each other.

The more user interaction the better.

The problem with reader reviews is the problem pbreview has. The only people who review high end markers are the ones who bought them, and if you shelled out $1500 on a marker, you aren't gonna slag it off, it's always gonna be the best thing since sliced bread.....
