It sounds asthough when the hammer is being blown back its getting stuck beyond the sear. Must be friction or something holding the hammer back against the tention of the spring, probably caused by some shmuck down the hammer shaft and/or no lubrication.

hi
ive just tried firing off a few rounds with my icon
but when i cock it it doesnt want to rest so i can pull the trigger to fire
i have to cock it till it clicks then push the bolt till it clicks again so i can push the trigger
and its not the paint or air thats a problem cus it happened after i took the air off too
and the gun was lubed the day before

any advice to clear the problem
Not sure if I'm understanding this right, but do you mean that the bolt will not lock in place (Cocked)? and the only way it will is to push the trigger forward first and hold it there while you pull the bolt back?

If this is the problem you have a small sear spring broken in the trigger grip that flicks the sear past the trigger and lifts the shutter against the hammer.

If on the other hand you have not mentioned to say you have had the marker to pieces, then check that the valve is the right way around (big hole against the cup seal), deffo to not cock and roll balls out of the end of your barrel;)

Looking for a team dudley
sigh...its like this
the gun is not cocked
i cock the marker, pull the bolt back
and after the click that indicates that its cocked...
it wont fire when i pull the trigger
i mean the trigger is free moving as if your firing without the gun being cocked.
but on tuesday i spoke to a tech from warped and he might know the problem
i dont know what this part is called but when the gun is cocked the spring that tensions the bolt pushes a piece of metal forward to rest on the trigger.
what he thinks the prob is in the trigger itself, and that when this piece is pushed forward, that another part in the trigger is meant to meet it so you can fire. but at the moment it has been pushed so far back that it does not meet the piece.
as you can probably tell its quite difficult to explain but if you know mike the warped tech then ask him about "james's icon" and he will explain it better than i will

Yep thats the small spring in the trigger frame. There are two inside, one attached to the trigger and the other to the Sear (rocking bit that sticks up out of the top of the frame.

You might have to knock a pin that one of the parts pivots on out, remove the broken spring and either replce it, or do what I have done in the past and twist another hook out of one of the coils with some pointed pliers to attach to the area that it broke off. Replace the parts removed, and replce the grip, JOBS A GOOD UN:D:D:D
