Oh yeah - it is sooooo funny that a bunch of people died in a terrorist bombing.

Maybe you guys can take a side trip and dance on their graves?

THe Iberian Cup is in MADRID. It is a new venue though in the centre of the City.

The Iberian Cup website will be online at the end of the week.
Do we have confirmation of this? When I after hard work found the venue on a Madrid-map, it was 12 km north-east of Madrid center?

I´m only asking this since I´m trying to find hotels/hostels as of this point - it´s pretty hard finding out ANYTHING since there is no official infos about this venue?

Is the venue Ifema? Thats central and huge.
Not according to the website - as already written it is supposed to be at the Alcobendas Sport Center - located about 12 km north east of Madrid center!!

When looking at a map you will find it/see it as "Polideportivo Alcobendas"! :)

Ok, possible stupid question coming up!!:p

Is Polideportivo or Alcobendas the area we should be looking for Hotels?
Which is the best area to look for Hotels?

Any info would be appreciated.

Well - as far as I know/understand (and that may not be right!;) ) Alconbendas is the area (sort of a suburb to Madrid) and Polideportivo is the spanish word for "sport center"......

It also appears there are only 2 hotels in alcobendas.
I've been looking at what is available and have found some cheap places in madrid, however car hire would be needed and isnt cheap from what ive seen.
