It came from the porn world indeed but was most widely publicized by the movie satirizing the porn world by Parker and Stone. You'll save the DVDA for the kids? What kind of sicko are you?!? I would never participate in DVDA. Not enough room and too much sharing, not mention visuals I'd rather not see. Oh, and by the way the Southpark theme was/is done by Primus.
Will 1984 happen? I actually think not, since we have more means of creative expression than ever before. Even if we had a government fully set on censorship, which we don't and I don't think we'd allow (and I'd move if we did), we'd still be coming up with ways to convey our thoughts no matter many means get taken away. Freedom of expression is an inalienable right and an insurmountable force of human nature. Even in the direst of conditions people have found means to write, sing, and draw, allowing them to use their minds and excercise that aspect of our souls that makes us human.

i never said they did the south park theme, i said that the band with try parker and matt stone called DVDA did songs for the film baseketball, staring them. and that they also created south park
Chris, it's in another Parker/Stone movie called Orgazmo. I'm sure you've heard of it if you're a big Baseketball fan, which, by the way, IS very damn funny.
