yer i do know what ya mean..you buy a new marker ie a 05 speed..as soon as you get it the 06 comes out so the value of the 05 goes down and you cant sell it for anything near what you boguht it for.

true, it doesn't aid resale - but on the bright side by lowering prices its making the sport more accessible financially which can only be a good thing?!?! (for paintball as a sport anyway)
(as in - its not exactly the cheapest sport to get involved in!)

and lets face it the 05 & 06 are both top markers whichever you're firing (but then i am a little biased:D)

You may think this strange coming from me, but what does it matter?

I have A4 Fly's, O5 Speed, G7 and 06 Speeds. I use them all.

End of the day, performance isn't that much different between any of them. Ok the 05 Speed was IMO a nicer shape and more pleasing to the eye, the G7 & 06 Speed have taken that a step further with the roto breech handle at the back a nice improvement.

If you can afford it, buy what you want. If you can't, don't buy new and rejoice at the wealth of cheap 2nd hand markers.

Buying a paintball marker is not an investment. Sooner people accept that the better.
