KO, the guy is nuts

I'm not sure you can even get boomstick fronts that size.

I'd be worried about the paint going from a larger bore to a smaller one and being ripped open.

It's not needed anyway. I'm very happy with my gun's accuracy, with the freak, CP or JJ barrel kits that I have.

He would order them directly from DYE, talking to the machinist who cut them for him just to be sure he was understood properly. I'd imagine it cost him a bit extra, but he got 2 or 3 of them. I saw him shoot them all the time and they worked great, no paint breakage at all.

Did you ever measure them to check he wasn't bsing you?

I find it very hard to believe he talked to the machinist and that they were willing or able to do that.

Most guys operating those CNC machines wouldn't necessarily be capable of changing the program, nor necessarily the authority to do it.

Most front are actually machined from a stock which is very close to 0.7 size. So having a length of stock that could be machined to a smaller bore would take lots of work and money and contacts.

Possible, but I'd need to measure the barrel or know the guy has major contacts to believe it
