When have we EVER known you to take any responsibility for ANYTHING??

;)

(Thor has his hammer back now btw)

Also, better using wood rather than a Screwdriver, as the metal to metal thing can distort the freak back if you give it a bit too much oomph.

Ranj it, ranj it hard!

You shouldn't use petroleum based lubricants like vaseline, stick with silicone based grease. O rings dont like petroleum based sustances.

To get your barrel off, try a pair of rubber gloves (marigolds). Wrap them round tightly and grip the barrel take up the tension and turn. Or the tool from b&q.

Now this works, but you've got to be both gentle and firm.

Get someone to grip the marker solidly, get a grip on the barrel, either with a clamp or your hands, and lightly tap the end of the barrel nearest the marker, with a small hammer, while firmly turning the barrel. I mean lightly, it's the sharp shock of the hammer that will release the seal. The skill here is the light but accurate hammer blows.

Ive put an o-ring on the back section & then only screwed it in far enough to squish the ring slightly (Its also nice cos it makes the FREAK letters the right way up :) )

This was the 1st time i'de taken it off so i think it was just on a bit too much.
