They are actually called different things!

The bum out ones are Lady Grips and teh Gusset typist ones are Lady2 grips (or teh other way round)...must admit, Gusset Typist...is a phrase that will now feature in my vocabulary on a regular basis, along there with such greats, as Carpet Muncher and Bean Flicker as well as the operation, known as a "Strapadictomy"
