Great event, but I still see things that could get better.
The spectator seating on Sunday was packed to bursting, which isn't a problem most of the weekend. I liked the set-up in Miami where teams entered from an end, allowing two sides to have bleachers.
College teams...
I wish Colorado State would get a team together. Some of the 303 and Sharp Shooters and Dirt guys could make a big dent in that circuit.
The vendor area was much better than I remember last year's, with more companies and good circulation.
I like the reserved tents in the players area, it saves you from having three teams sharing one tent while another team removes walls and claims 2 tents for themselves.
I love oranges. I love bananas. Apples are even pretty great. I spent so little on restaurants it was wonderful. I also got so much potassium from the freee bananas that I actually sprouted roots and started to photosynthesize nutrients.
I wish the air fills were between the player tents and the fields, rather than on opposite sides.
I saw more refereeing errors (though not on JT, shamu) than I remember from last year. I saw players get away with more wiping, though I also saw a few 3-1 penalties. Chrono rerring as discussed above, was imnconsistent and would have been very easy to circumvent.
In Chicago last year there were rubbermaid crates for guns outside the deadbox. What happened to those?
Thanks to Riktor 7 for use of the jerseys- we had some problems with the printers, so we had to use someone else's. I think that might have been Shamu's team.
Thanks to Robbo for the talk at the NPPL field. It helped focus my thinking and may keep me trying to improve our team instead of jumping ship for another team.
