You cannot get a DOT bottle tested to HSE standards, you send of a bottle to Planet or whatever they'll drill a durty great hole in it, saying that its illegal to own one in the UK and its their duty to make sure it cant be used.
Now I'm confused:confused:

My Max-flo was pretty much an original I got it as soon as Planet started selling them in early 95.

The bottle markings read

Structural Composites Industries
Pomona California
TC-3FCM-206
DOT-E 7277 3000
ALT 374B

It went to Planet for retesting when I started playing again and came back tested and passed with a little sticker on it under a shrinkwrapped protector saying Tested 11/01.

From what I'm reading this should be impossible.

Do I need to change my bottle, does the fact that the bottle has been tested to UK standards mean it's OK or am I just missing something?

Any advice welcome
