Hi everyone!

Apologies, I have had my steelie tank since I started playing paintball. I never asked any questions about it, I just know what I screw it in, I fill it at the nipple, and it works on any marker I've used it with.

I went to Staargate and finally got fed up of having to refill on air, so I am going to buy a new HPA tank.

I've found one at a decent price on these forums, however it comes with a low pressure regulator. Is that going to be okay with an Ego SL74?

Admittedly I have not spent enough time researching the inns and outs of the marker it's self. I really should do, but can anyone help me out with some advice?

Many thanks.
GodForbid.

I think your best best is looking at a Mid or High range for a Ego. I was always told to got for a Mid or high when i upgrade to my Ego 11 about a month ago

I dont actually know what difference a LP bottle will make so hopefully someone can shed some light on it

Thanks mate, I have been searching the net and it's really conflicting. Many saying it's absolutely fine and some saying Eclipse recommend against, but with no reason why.

So I am unsure what to do :(

I believe it works better with HP but it will work with most Good LP Regulators, in other words it should be okay and work as long as you don't buy a Chinese knock off of a Regulator...

I could be wrong though so I would wait for someone else to comment or just buy a HP one on another bottle.
Or Buy the bottle take the regulator off swap/sell it for a HP one?

Anyways, all the best with your search.

As I said on another thread. I have run an Etek 3 off 450-500psi output tanks with no issues. The only problem you could experience is shoot down at high rates of fire. What tank and reg is it?
