Possibly from the burn marks, but the heat air gets to being compressed that high could account as well.
Air has to get colder so that it can be compressed, atmospheric pressure air is warmer than compressed air.

I'm always **** scared of putting any sort of lube anywhere near my tank, but i'm sure a tech course in airsmithing would reassure me enough. I think it's a good idea, and if there were enough people who wanted to do it, i'm sure it'd be viable.

reading this kind of stuff. scares the heck out of me. newb qusetion here. can you get someone else to fill your bottle for you as im always timid with the air systems bottles and stuff.

hope that dude recovers.
