Hi, a quick question about the M7 rules. It says:

So if both teams are on 2 points but one has 4 bodies on the field and the other only has 1 live player, the clock runs out. What happens? Do they continue playing into the overtime? Or does the overtime start with a fresh point?
Overtime starts with fresh point.

Concerning paint: About 40 boxes for a total of 40 points/matches

Is the rate of paint consumption really that much higher, or is it just that you're getting to play more paintball? How many minutes paintball is 40 points, what was the average duration of the points?

The total number of minutes play, multiplied by the number of players on the field, and then that divided by the number of boxes used would give you a rate that you could compare with the 7 man.

I'd be supprised if it was anymore than the 7 man per minute of play, per player.

EDIT: Okay that's weird, when i posted this it appeared earlier in the thread than the ones i posted last night? Is the clock screwed?

I don`t have exactly the minutes we played, but just an approx. time.
Since we did not drop many points during this tournament (Shock was the only team scoring 3 points ;) ) our games was probably shorter than other teams. But i signed all the scoresheets, and no one was over 10 min. of effecient playing time, so we speak a total of 6 games X 10 min = 60 min of playing & 40 boxes (2000 exxellent draxxus balls:D ) divided on 5 players (or actually 9, since that was how many we fielded.:) )

So now you can compare it to 7 man...

Or just one case pr. point gives you 400 ball pr. person on field = Should be less than 1 magazine + 2 pods in average

So 60mins of play, times 5 on the field (to do a fair comparison, i reckon you can't count the players sitting points out) is 300. 300/40 = 7.5.

So in the M7 a player gets 7.5 mins of play out of a box.

So that i can work out the comparible figure for 7-man, could someone who played the 7-man tell me how many games they got, roughly what the average game time was, and how many boxes they used. Cheers.

Frank ,

I am hoping we take more points of you in Germany , alas i will be in Vegas :)

We had a lot more harder fought games , well we chucked quite few games away , by hurling our selfs on peoples guns .

Steve , we played 53 games , granted we made it to sunday afternoon . think we played an avg of 13 mins per game , apart from one game, which lasted about 8 mins.

We shot around 50 cases

Yes there is ramping

Hope this helps
