How to Uplaod Pics (TuT)

Oky since you uploaded your pics with a space in the name they have replaced the space with a %, when uploading things to your web page try not to leave a space as some web pages do not like this.

but there you go your first pic on the net . now to add it to this post you would type the following with out spaces.

[i m g]http://homepage.ntlworld.com/matthew.stockdale/spike%201.jpg[/ i m g]

so it comes up like this

another hint / tip is if you fancy seeing where poples pictures are located in a post right click on the picture and then left click on properties it will tell you the link to were the pic has come from -- so say it was www.nowheretobefound.com/hehe/1.jpg then by removeing the 1.jpg and typeing in you web browser www.noweretobefound/hehe/ you will be able to see if there is any hidden pics that are in that folder .

90% of the time its the user BUT 10% its the software lol ...

wrighting up a few more Tuts about moveing pics and stuff useing free software avilble on the net so you can makes your posts even more funkey and maybe add a bit of Bling to them lol. Will post them once there user frendly.

Ok, so I have created my website, and uploaded some pics, even managed to find the address for them. And even managed to put them into a thread. But how do get them to auto display in your post?????

Got the link to work, but can not get them to auto load and display.........Help!!!

oky dead easy this one

to display a image you will need to put the link in between these

[i.m.g]you link goes here[/i.m.g] <==remove the .'s

e.g

[i.m.g]http://www.this.com/is/a/test.img[/i.m.g]

but dont for get it sholdent be i.m.g it shold be img with out the dots . hope this is helpfull.


allso by pressing on the button above wich says IMG when typeing a post you can add the url = link in that and it will auto fill out the rest.


some server may not like you to direct link to a picture though but NTL world and BT dont mind. so you may just have to add the link as a www.thiswill.allways.work.com insted

ok i know this is an old thread but its really bugging me i had this working a while ago but now i cant seem to log on to my ftp server usuing leech...its saying dns failure or something! help!

prblem i found was that some of the tools in edit paragraph didnt work..like...insert image....but if you have that problem..i can tell you how to sort it.
Take a look at mine..only basic, but havent put much on it yet, just pi$$ing about really!!
Also worked out how to put links like that in my sig..im getting good at this!!
