if it's stopped being fun then leave that team or you and the players that agree with you should leave and start a new team. Find a team that plays for the fun of it and they don't mind losing coz they know it's part of the game.

If your all good mates, then slap them into order!!

Twisted was formed because we were all best mates, and we did everything together prior to paintball.

When we first started no-one wanted to play back, so we started off and we had no back players!! Big deal? You learn aggression, without aggression you wouldnt go anywhere fast.

You should be able to be honest with your friends, and tell them to train - or they will not see the benefits of winning.

Training and drilling is great when you realise how much you improve, and sooner or later your captain should be honsetly explain why certain people suit certain positions.

Explain to them how pissed your getting, and see what they want from paintball (wether its to play a tourney, for a laugh, or to be the best)

Good luck.

dont get to down hearted about losing, it happens to all of us when we start out or try a new level, you just have to look at why you lost and try to improve on it. Good times will come if your willing to learn.

good news mates!

the team has just fallen apart, we actually had a meeting...no wait, it was just a stupid AIM chat...within 2 minutes, it fell apart...gosh our "captain" and "co-captain" sure know how to make it work.....now i just need to graduate highschool and move to a highly populated paintball area so i can get a real team!

Unfortunately teams made up of old mates very rarely work well - it's rare that everyone has the level of commitment needed to keep a team together, and it's a bummer having to boot your old friend off the team, so people that should be long gone are still somehow in there.

Recball with friends is the best fun you can have without taking your goggles off, but when it comes to teamplay and tournament play you've got to grit your teeth and leave that behind. Glad you see the team splitting as good news (I mean I'm sorry it had to happen, but it was inevitable sooner or later, right?) and wishing you success with your future teams.
