How often do air bottles need to be tested?

paintball bottles do matter there still commpressed the same.c02 is at 800psi in the bottle wich will make a mess if it bursts
the law states 5 years for c02 steel/alloy tanks and 3 years for fibre wapped tanks regardless of what your doing with them.
